The Justrite Sure-Grip EX Compac Safety Cabinet (Model 891200) is engineered for safe, compliant storage of flammable liquids like aerosols, cleaners, and degreasers. With a manual-close door and compact design, this 12-gallon cabinet is perfect for tight spaces—fitting easily on countertops or under workbenches in maintenance garages or labs with limited floor space.
Built for durability and fire resistance, this cabinet features 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall construction with a 1.5-inch insulating air space. The fully welded body ensures long-term structural integrity and better protection during fire exposure by minimizing air gaps.
The manual-close, self-latching door opens 180° and securely shuts with a 3-point stainless steel latch system for fire-safe storage. Smooth operation is ensured by a continuous piano hinge, and the U-Loc™ handle allows quick access without manual rotation. For added security, each unit includes a cylinder lock and key and supports padlock use. Bright Haz-Alert™ reflective labels enhance visibility in low-light or emergency conditions.
Inside, a patented SpillSlope® galvanized steel shelf directs spills to the rear and into a 2-inch leak-tested sump that meets EPA regulations. Adjustable in 3-inch increments, the shelf supports up to 350 lbs and meets ANSI MH28.1 standards. Welded shelf hangers interlock for secure support—no flimsy brackets to misplace. Replacement shelf model: 29936.
