Switchboard matting is designed to be placed permanently in front of high-voltage equipment such as switchgear and motor control centers, offering reliable protection for workers. It is also ideal for use when handling take-up and pay-out reels or during conductor installation and replacement.

Crafted from premium Type II material, this Class 2 matting features a thickness of 1/4” (6.4mm) and is rigorously tested to withstand 20kV. It fully complies with ASTM D178 Class standards, ensuring both safety and performance.

The mat’s corrugated surface provides superior traction, minimizing slip hazards while also preventing metal particles from embedding into the material. Designed for Class 2 applications, it supports a maximum AC voltage of 17,000 volts.
