Designed by Skedco to complement the Sked Stretcher, the OSS II conveniently fits within a rolled stretcher. According to Skedco, the OSS II is “the safest and most effective vest-style extrication and immobilization device available today.” It features a shoulder board that helps prevent patient compression inside the Sked stretcher. The OSS II provides excellent head and cervical spine immobilization and acts as a long spine board when paired with the Sked. Built to endure tough conditions, it can be easily cleaned using standard bleach solutions. It is also X-ray translucent, and comes with complete instructions.
